sounds like nz, except "shag gf in full view of everyone in pub carpark on top of car bonnet" would need to be in there somewhere

We weren't posh enough to have cars. Usually an alley way near the pub for a quick knee trembler sufficed as a lover's lane.

You are clearly supporting the move back

I'm feeling quite tempted again.

Again practicality wise , the test can often be at short notice ~ two weeks maybe

Understand that I'm neither for or against you moving back to the UK as it were , it's just better to understand the practicalities before you deide. I believe ( and am willing to be corrected ) that it s considered fairly problematic to go through the citizenship procedurecwhile living outside Canada

they don't need to move to the UK for Europe to become a whole new world for them, that was awarded to them at birth.....but if Europe was their Lobster then why are 100's of thousand of Europeans flooding into the UK oh yes for the health care...... don't get me wrong.....I miss the UK more than any other English person I have spoken too, I go back every year and have quality catch up with the people I miss dreadfully, but love coming back to Canada for 100's of reason's but wont go listing them all...cos I am sure everyone had their lists of pro's and con's!!!

I do think living in a city in the UK with a decent sized uni makes a difference. Norwich without UEA would be pretty grim in lots of ways.
Schools are fine in UK. Schools are fine in Canada. I've been in a lot in both places. Really not that different.
If UEA is Norwich's saving grace, then god help the rest of Norwich.
