Hi everyone,
Well, we moved from Vancouver in 2007 to Ontario to be near family.
But now myself and my boys (not so much my husband as he hates moving) have decided we miss the beautiful views of BC and we want to go back.
Question:: We will be driving across Canada again but we need a large cargo trailer that we can rent for a week and that we can collect from Ontario and drop off in Vancouver. We have an Ford F150, tried Uhaul but trailers are not big enough to get all our furniture in. Then we thought of getting a truck and trailing the F150 but they say it is too heavy for their trailers. Tried other rental companies but none do one way.
Cant afford to pay a company to move our stuff would like to so it our selfs and have a great trip across Canada in the bargain.
Anyone know of any companies that do large cargo trailer rentals size no smaller than 14x7 one way, have searched no internet and getting very frustrated.
l know you are thinking how did they do it when they moved in the first place well it was a complete nightmare we moved some stuff in a Uhaul trailer and had the other stuff shipped, cost a fortune and never got shipped stuff for 2 months after arriving in Ontario.
Any help will be much appreciated as l do not want my husband to have an easy way out!!!!!
He loves it in Vancouver too but just does not like the upheaval of moving again.
Thanks in advance
Deb

You can rent a truck from Uhaul one way..we did when we were in the USA, a 26ft one-it was fine.

Or maybe buy a secondhand trailer, then sell it when you get to Vancouver
. Might even make a profit

Thanks for your replies,
Shelley748, we thought about that but we need to get our F150 over there too and the vehicle trailer will not hold the weight.
Fedupgb, that is a great idea and we would get use out of it later as my husband can use it for work but l have not seen one for less than $5,000 and that is second hand!.
Thanks anyway guys. x
