Try Foxs in the UK they were fab, well priced and everything done as promised.
They went through Tippett and Richardson in Calgary (who I couldn't fault and couldn't have been better - ask for Miranda she is great!!!!) and everything again was done as promised.
Miranda even came to Customs with me and the family for the clearing of the container! And helped us with the paper work
Apart from that the cost was 4k for a 20 foot totally packed and unpacked. The only problem I have had is we have lost a couple of doobry daps to keep a double bed together - but hey that was probably me when I was cleaning back in the UK!
Anyway, did say I would report GOOD experience on a poll but don't know names of other leading companies to start poll of customer feedback. So if anybody else can suggest the other companies then I will add a poll so we can visually know who are crap!
SO THANKS FOXS AND MIRANDA AT TIPPETT RICHARDSON! (especially her she was great!)

A happily unpacked Mrs Miggins x

Glad to hear that all has arrived safe and well. Thanks for the recommendation - it's not a company we had looked at but we might ask for a quote.

Thanks for the tip. We are at that stage where we are gathering quotes for moving, in fact we have a man coming to see us this afternoon from Anglo Pacific to give us a quote from moving from Glasgow to Halifax Nova Scotia.
I will post the results later. I will defo give Fox a call and compare the two.

Hello Julie / thedignans
Not sure if you'd be interested, but just wondering if you saw our post about sharing a container from Glasgow to Halifax?
[You may have enough stuff though, but just thought we'd ask]
We're heading to Halifax from Glasgow in late Oct or early Nov, dates may be flexible.
Fox was one of the guys who suggested sharing the 20ft with another party, as we don't have enough stuff to fill one ourselves.
