Hi,

We're considering immigrating to Canada in the near future. Obviously, it's a big step to take as you're leaving your support network behind. I'm just wondering how easy it is to integrate into Canadian life - making friends, jobs etc.

Thanks.

Have a search round on the main Lifestyle Forum and also post with some details about where you fancy, etc...and then people will reply if they can help you with areas, work, etc.

Look at the Wiki for details on the immigration process and then you have a much better idea on what to focus on.

I don't think there is any "Canadian life" as such. People who were born here tend to have a tedious fixation on ice hockey but most people carry on pretty much as they did in their home countries (except where regulation or taxation makes that impractical).
