Hi All,
We are there with visa etc so now thinking about logistics (no rush as it will probably be moving next year). Just wondering if anyone has used the Movecube service offered by Seven Seas? We would probably sell most of our furniture so we think this would suit but one concern is the fact your box gets dropped in Havelock Ontario. We are looking at London Ontario so it would be a bit of a drive to get our stuff but main question is around where does it sit in Havelock. Have searched online and can find nothing about a shipping depot etc. Anyone been through this already / know what is there?!
Thanks in Advance

Havelock ?? Holy ...... Nothing there and never seen anything like it - Do you have an address (PM me) I'll go have a look
But it's not the end of the world (Well Havelock might be) you can always get a local carrier to transport to London maybe

I'm intrigued as to where you found information that your box would be "dropped in Havelock" - that's a tiny community, with what looks like (according to Google Maps) a tiny rail yard and a small public self-storage facility. If that's the service you're being offered, I'd be inclined to find a different service. But their website indicates that the eastern Canada depot is near Pearson Airport in Toronto Seven Seas Worldwide Toronto Depot Toronto Shipping Services and that they provide a door-to-door service for international removals.

Thanks Both. To try and answer both - When you run a quote it gives a figure and ‘door to depot’ service with the depot address as 2126 County Road 46, Havelock, K0L 1Z0. Might just be that the cubes go there (wherever ‘there’ is) and full house moves are door to door?

Surely it has to go to a bonded warehouse for Customs clearance and release (where you will need a copy of your Goods to Follow list, duly stamped - you did do one when you 'landed' right?) before it can be transported anywhere within Canada.

The video shows a cube and clearly states it's a door to door service. Maybe would be worth calling them to clarify. Havelock does seem a bizarre place to deliver them all to.

Given the replies so far I have called and it does go to the depot in Mississauga! It shouldn’t say Havelock......which apparently is the address of the bonded warehouse........

You might want to check that. CBSA has a list of their bonded warehouses and sufference warehouses (run by private companies) and I couldn't see that address.
