Hi,
Could anyone tell me what weather to expect at the end of May, begining of June? we are coming for a holiday, staying near Red Deer and hopefully moving out permanently next year. Thanks

And NO I am not being sarcastic. My birthday is May 26th and in the last 3 years I have experienced Snow (that settled and was at least 4 inches), low 20s, Minus figures, Hail and Rain. (Some of them on the same day

I'd agree with Butch. You can expect warm weather - shorts/t-shirt. You can expect cold weather - Jumper/Jackets. If your planning a trip into the rockies - then you will need Jumpers/Jackets for the evenings if not for the days too.
At the moment it's about -4 in Red Deer, I've just walked the dog, I had a raincoat, jumper and jogging bottoms on and a hat and gloves, the sun is warm the air is cold. I was hot when I got back but I did need the gloves and hat.

Expect anything..............I've got a friend visiting at the end of May and he asked me the same thing. For example last week in Calgary on Monday & Tuesday it was in the low 20's and sunny, then on Wednesday the temp plumetted and we've had snow on and off since then!

We agree.
This table may give a feel for June weather in Red Deer. This is from last year but you can flip back and forth between years.

Our weather watch gives a flavour of life a bit further south, down around Okotoks, High River and the like.

Kind regards,
