Default Money Transfer

Hi,

Hoping to move to Nova Scotia this year and was wondering if anyone from Scotland knows of and could recommend an international independent financial advisor round about the Glasgow area, or further afield?

Thanks

If all you want to do is transfer money, a financial adviser would not be much help (if any). You would be best to contact one of the FX houses such as Custom House. Very easy. Lots of threads on this board on the subject with everything you want to know.

Hi,

Thanks for that but we need a bit more advice. Got a couple of savings plans etc. ISA's and the like and not sure what is best to do i.e. cash in and transfer money or leave it here in the UK (not keen on that due to current climate). All a bit double dutch to me and could be doing with some advice.
