Just wondered if you can help me. I have a possible job offer in Moncton and just wondered if anyone could give me any 1st hand expereince of the place. I am married with two boys and currently living in NZ.

Just moved to the outskirts of Moncton.

Its a lot colder than NZ I can tell you that.

It is a very friendly place and things seem to be less formal than in the UK.

Its not the Rockies but there is some very pretty countryside nearby.
and of course it is near the sea which is nice.

It seems to be the city in NB that is growing the fastest which is a good sign, but econmically its no boom town.
Having said that people live and work here and get on with life.
It all depends on what you are looking for.

Have you visited Canada before?

I am not sure what else I can tell you, except we like it.

There are Quite a few others on the forum who are already here or on their way so I am sure you will get more help.

Look it up on google as well that should give you some info to go on.

I have been living in Moncton for the last 8 Months and have to agree with Penny's comments about the cold, but its warmed up nicely now.
