heh i know its pretty tame.. was at my aunt's yesterday afternoon and went in flip flops (with socks) just for the journey and then put slippers on at her place.. (it was dry then!) when we left at eleven pm, we had about four inches of snow..

i know.. i know.. i have a lot to learn ;)

You'll get used to the different types of snow ... I like this stuff the best.

Got a snow shovel yet? Get one of the ones with a bend in it ... the straight ones make shovelling hard. I'd also recommend keeping a folding shovel and some ice melter in the car.

i actually prefer the denser kind.. the one that crunches when you step in it :)

not yet - we live in a apartment complex and the shovelling is done by the people in charge.. once we buy a place, then i will pass that info onto hubby - as you can see, i hate shovelling snow!

but the folding shovel is an excellent idea for the car!

The crunch comes when it drops below -20C or so ... there's nothing quite like an early morning run through crunchy snow :-)
