Hi - my 33 year old partner had a stroke 4 months ago while pregnant with our first child. She is making a good recovery and is mostly independant now, she even looks after our 2 month old baby boy by herself now while I am at work.
My question is, will this have a detrimental on our medicals? I know the 2 criteria (communicable diseases and drain on health service) and I was wondering if she would be considered a drain? She has almost finished her physiotherapy course but she will need regular blood checks to test her blood clotting (INR) so her warfarin dosage can be adjusted.
Thanks, JJ

No idea - but just wanted to say Hi! That must have been a shock and a worrying time for both of you - best wishes for continued good recovery and health !
