Medical Extension
Hi,
I am Pankaj and i applied for canadian immigration from CHC Delhi, India. I took only 8 months and i got a letter for medicals. I think being a software engineer my interview was waived. After i completed my medicals in India i came to US on H1B visa. Now my medical has expeired because of some unavoidable reasons. Recently i received a letter from CHC New Delhi about my medical extension and this time they mentioned that we need only chest XRAY to extend ur case. I have submitted my chest Xray on 21 September, 2001 and the doctor who took my xray told me that everything is OK. Now i am curious to know is everyhing going positive in my case. If yes then by what time i can expect my landing papers....I will really appreciate if you can take out some of your precious time to answer my queries

You should count one year from the date you did your medical the first = time. This
will give you the validity of your visa. You should get it = sometime before that.

Hi Bhargav thanks for prompt reply. Right you are, the date was September 21, 2001. What that timeline is....? can you give somedetails on that so that i should reply accordingly.. Anyway I applied for immigration in August, 1999. My interview was waived.

Hi Pankaj, by timeline it would mean what are the datewise stages in the application
prosessing i.e. when did you apply, when did you receive the AOR, request for meds
etc.One thing- you applied in august 1999 and an got an interview waiver, I wonder
why it took so long, usually such cases are through in about 12 months
