Hi all
has anybody on here got their MCIOB
Im trying to find out a few things
firstly , is it actually recognised in Canada I’ve read somewhere its the equivalent to a gold seal?. Is that the case and what is the gold seal?
secondly does it get more points on the CRS score for example would it be classed as a degree by WES?

I would suggest contacting the Gold Seal admin - see email at the bottom of this page - and ask if there is a way to challenge the Gold Seal exam, based on experience / hours worked + international training. You will probably need to get your employers in the UK / elsewhere to document all hours worked and certify that you met all requirements.
I don't know how well known the 'Gold Seal' is for Construction Managers - you may want to look into the more commonly recognised Certifications- and whether you will need Provincial Certification (it may be regulated in some Provinces)
