MAC I never even entertained it here because I though it would be even more expensive than the UK.

I shall have a gander at that as well then

I looked in the Mall but no joy.
Hi,

if you can't find it anywhere you will be able to get in on eBay or drugstore.com

I didn't know I could use the internet for anything other than BE. Why didn't I think of that.

Getting things shipped from the US to Canada can be a right pain in the ass plus you can get ripped off with postage and custom charges

They do have a section for shipping and I don't think it's unreasonable. Can't speak for customs though but should be ok if you don't spend too much.

I might have to just give in and find another brand, I always though Maxfactor was a world wide company.

I thought Maxfactor was an American company you'd think it would be easier to find

If you make sure they dont use UPS, Fed ex etc and use the postal service the only customs charges would be $5 broker fee charged by Canada Post, and any applicable taxes plus whatever the shipping is.

I order from the US on a regular basis and never find it to be a pain and many times the shipping is cheaper then what some Canadian companies are charging.

Just make sure they use the Postal Service and not UPS etc.

It appears its not available in Canada, Canada is not listed on Max Factors website, and Proctor and Gamble who owns the brand does not list it on their Canadian website.

sorry that i'm intruding, but its just while you are on the topic of cosmetics, does anyone know if the fake tan products fakebake or st tropez are available in canada? I couldnt seem to find anywhere that had them last year when we visited BC (mind you, i didnt really look that hard!). My problem is that i have the typical scottish white/blue skin and i'm worried i'd scare people during the summer months when i bare the legs!!!!

Yep Fake Bake is sold in Canada but I would think at only small spa and salons - I know we stocked it for a while but it didnt sell very well and we also do air brushed fake tans too so maybe that is why.

Would go and take a look in Shoppers Drug Mart as they stock Boots No7 and they do a fake bake kind of thing. Cant remember seeing St Tropez though

I second that suggestion.

It is also not tested on animals, brand was created in Canada and is now owned by same company that owns clinic, Prescriptives, Bobbi Brown, and others.

Mac is very nice indeed.

I steer clear of Maxfactor, Loreal, Rimmel and some more as I try to avoid animal testing. If it is drugmart brands that are of interest, Revlon works very well (and is not animal tested).
