We're planning our removals from the UK and I think I've read somewhere that we have to get mattresses fumigated before they'll let them into Canada.
Does anybody know if this has to be done before we leave England or can it be done on arrival?
I know it will probably be easier to buy a new mattress in Canada, but it's for an old bed of an unusual size.
Thanks for any advice!

Just found this on the web - maybe its an old edict? Also seem to remember reading this in some guide book or other I think.............

All seems a bit bizarre! If mattresses then why not sofas?!
