just a quick question - if I marry a dual citizen, can I also become a dual citizen? I'm currently a US citizen, attending university in canada, and my longtime boyfriend (who also attends university in canada) is a dual citizen of the US and canada. i'm just wondering with regards to tuition, etc......fees are a lot cheaper for canadian citizens! Thanks!

No, is the simple answer.
Marrying a Canadian will not get you Canadian Citizenship, if it did i would not have had to go through this stupid immigration process.
What it does give you is the right to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency via the Family Class.

You may be eligible for cheaper fees as a Canadian Landed Immigrant though - see your college and see what they say !
