Yep. Marmite is definitely coming with us and one other thing I would really love to pack for my one way ticket is 'Bisto'. Any issues there do you reckon. Suitcase or packing cases in between the teddy bears????? When we were out on a fact finding mission we concluded Canadians Don't Do Gravy??????

What gave you that idea? Gravy granules and mixes are easily available in supermarkets, if that's how you like to make it. My MIL insists on bringing packets of Bisto with her when she visits and has no problem with it in her checked luggage.

probably cause all the Brits we made contact with out in Calgary have been emailing putting in orders for when we leave the UK, and gravy & marmite are tops with a close 3rd place for chocolate. (oh yes and good fitting bras).

It's the Bisto granules that I have not seen here - but regular gravy powder is easily accessible. And there is no issue in bringing it in - it's just a pile of chemicals afterall - no meat in there. :D

You can get Bisto gravy granules either at the Brit shop in Market Mall or the one across from Northland Mall or both.

However be prepared to part with your first born son as part payment.

Just wanted to say, I put the marmite in by suitcase and put "Food (e.g. Chips and Sweets)" on the goods accompanying list and it wasn't even mentioned. Thanks for your comments guys.

Sorry, mate. Best I can manage is a Pont l'Eveque and vin rouge.

Rather better, IMHO.
