Hi
We live in MR off 207 st, but closer to the centre. Uplands is off 240th st and 104 near SRT secondary school. Very nice area with mountain views, but no shops near by

Not too far anyway. There's Bruce's Market down the road, and Coopers supermarket up the road (along with Subway, MacDs etc), and pretty much the same distance to central Haney and the Mall as it is for you at 207th. But nothing within easy walking distance.

I think they are going between $500.000 and 590.000 depending on bedrooms.

Well the houses at Uplands are very impressive, they range from $550k-$650k + GST + appliances, some of them in the latest phase are backing onto greenbelt land therefore this has increased the prices for some of the houses. We also saw some houses in another development today Silver Ridge which were also very nice, however they were cheaper maximum prices for these were $603k including GST and appliances, these also had great views, so Silver ridge does work out to be a better deal.

About the same as Burnaby then, and you still have the bridge scenario to get past if heading down town. We have a little town house, which you could buy two for, for the same money as one at uplands.
