No I never had one, the mere thought of eating one turned me green around the gills

Next you'll be telling me you don't get served curry sauce with your chip-shop chips in Canada too! What about mushy peas ?

hee hee! I haven't seen curry sauce or peas of any kind in our area of BC. Brown sauce, malt vinegar, chipsteak dinners, haggis, etc. may be a tough call too!

We're just back from Scotland this week... already going through Haddock withdrawals. :D

Cheers

Oggy

(add on: Oh and the eclipse was beautiful sight - nice clear evening for viewing!)

Nope....at least not in BC.......but then who ever heard of not having ketchup with scrambled eggs.....like we found on our last trip to the UK.

As far as mushy peas.....well, only if you get a fork like my kids.....and mush them yourself. :D

Yeah we have ketchup with scrambled eggs, and with omlettes, at least my family have...which may be explain a lot I know. That said my mother made me marmite and cheese sandwiches as a child too, now it would probably be illegal under the heading of child abuse. ;)

Looks like I'm going to have to be sent food aid parcels !! ;)

And you can't make mushy peas using a fork, here's how: http://www.wight.co.uk/food/recipes.99/11.99/

Nessie, I won't be missing Haggis, the only king of the puddin race I ever had exploded just as I was about to cook it. :scared:

Re: Lunar Eclipse

Willmore I hope you are not a blonde
Just a wee silly joke
Hope you all enjoy

Eddie

BLONDE JOKE

A plane is on its way to Melbourne when a blonde in Economy Class gets up
and moves to the First Class section and sits down. The flight attendant
watches her do this and asks to see her ticket.

She then tells the blonde passenger that she paid for Economy and that she
will have to go and sit in the back.

The blonde replies I'm blonde, I'm beautiful, I'm going to Melbourne and
I'm staying right here!"

The flight attendant goes into the cockpit and tells the pilot and co-pilot
that there is some blonde bimbo sitting in First Class that belongs in
Economy and won't move back to her seat.

The co-pilot goes back to the blonde and tries to explain that because she
only paid for Economy she is only entitled to an economy place and she will
have to leave and return to her original seat.

The blonde replies, “I'm blonde, I'm beautiful, I'm going to Melbourne and
I'm staying right here!"

Exasperated the co-pilot tells the pilot that it was no use and that he probably should have the police waiting when they land to arrest this blonde woman that won't listen to reason.

The pilot says, "You say she's blonde? I'll handle this, I'm married to a
blonde, and I speak blonde!"

He goes back to the blonde, whispers in her ear, and she says “Oh, I'm sorry -I had no idea," gets up and moves back to her seat in the economy section.

The flight attendant and co-pilot are amazed and asked him what he said to
make her move without any fuss.

The Pilot replied "I told her First Class isn't going to Melbourne"

Willmore perhaps you could teach us all a bit of origami with your piece of paper.

Or do you have other things to do with it !!!!!

Heres one for all of you

Try this it really works.

Who sits around and figures this stuff out? .

I know this sounds crazy but for some neurological reason it happens...
Try this... While sitting at your desk, make clockwise circles with
your right foot. While doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with
your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

Now is that weird or what
