Hi I looked back and your previous thread and couldn't see any answer to the Q people were asking you on that thread which is: on what basis are you intending to come and work in Canada? (you need to be eligible to apply for a work permit, or be a permanent resident/Canadian citizen).

Unless there is a basis on which to apply for a work permit, or you have an open work permit already for some reason, it's most unlikely someone is going to offer you a job.

Are you (plural) eligible for Express Entry?
Immigrate as a skilled worker through Express Entry

You'll need >450 Points to have a chance.

Have you looked at the requirements for an LMIA (necessary for temporary work visa, & more than helpful for EE if your points are low)?
Hire a temporary foreign worker | ESDC

If you do a Google search for "hotel jobs Canada" or "hotel jobs BC" etc (you get my drift), you'll find multiple specialised websites. Do beware of any generally advertising that they provide a WP.

Hi thanks for your advice, visa stuff is sorted so we are looking for recuitment agents or jobs site that are just for catering jobs.

Eg like the cater job site is for the uk.
So if anyone could give me advice on that please that would be great
Many thanks

I've spent a number of years in the hotel trade in Canada.

My advice on job seeking in the industry would vary slightly depending on whether you have/are eligible for a PR visa, or whether you would need an LMIA.

Reality is likely to be you need to be in Canada and available for any job. Employers are pretty particular about face to face interviews given as you can imagine there are a lot of speculative enquiries out there that never come to any conclusion that employers cannot be bothered with. Not saying some people dont get lucky but would guess that in hospitality there is a lot of competition for jobs from people already in Canada, can be said for any vocation.

Are you saying you are already Permanent Residents? Or are you Canadian? Otherwise as has already been said, the biggest hurdle for the majority of people is that work visas these days aren't just handed out. There's little point searching for a job if you then won't be able to take it up.

Are LMIA's common in the hospitality trades these days? I have no idea.

Or sticking fingers in the ears and saying "Nar Nar Nar" loudly so you don't hear what you don't want to hear?
