In light of my age, and being realistic as to my likely modest pension prospects in Canada, I am interested in buying some investment property to generate a rental income. I read a post a few weeks ago where somebody posted a link (but it was dead!) to a website/magazine which would be useful reading for anyone contemplating getting into buying an investment property (or two). Even though the link was dead, I can't find the post again.

I appreciate that there is a huge amount to investigate, such as dealing with realtors and managing agents, BTL mortgages, income tax on rent and CGT on capital appreciation, so I want to while away a few nights trying to become familiar with the BTL landscape.
