Default Looking for help with taxes...

Hi,
I've been in Canada on the IEC program since May and I'm trying to get my Tax return together. Only problem is every time I call the helpline to ask what forms I should be filling out, I get a different answer.
First I thought I just had to fill out the normal form. Then I was told I had to fill out a special package for non-residents. Then I was told I had to fill out the normal form, but put on the front that I am a 'deemed non-resident'.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I'm also unsure whether I would count as a non-resident, deemed non-resident, deemed resident or whatever....

Thanks!

I think they are trying to establish wether you are a tax resident. Have a read of this as it should explain wether you are considered a resident for tax purposes.

It is whatever. You file as a factual resident since May 2011.
