Hi all,
Just wondering if there are many people on this forum who have had their first LMO rejected but gotten it second time around?
If so, can anyone advise me as I am gutted with this outcome today.
The company are also very dissapointed and said they are not going to accept this rejection as they have been trying to fill the position since September 2010.
Any advice out there? Anyone?
Thanks.

It was rejected for the following reason:
"According to our analysts there is no labour shortage for skilled trade automotive technician".
The company said this is ridiculous and I too agree because there is a huge shortage of this trade in the area.
I am totally gutted with this outcome as we were so positive he would get it.
Any advice?

Did they submit all of their advertising that they did for the position?

Hi GC44,
Remember talking to you 2 days ago and you were saying yours had been rejected twice.
Are you still in UK waiting or are you in Canada?
Do you think you are going to get it eventually? Or should I say, does your employer think so?
How long did you have to wait to re-apply the second time around?
Thanks.

Hi,
The company has contacted an Immigration lawyer that they have used previously just today when they got the news.
They have never been rejected before and have a huge problem filling automotive technician positions.
They are going to let me know next week what they are going to do about the second application, and yes, they were able to show where they have been advertising since last September/October and where other applicants were unsuitable, etc.
Totally gutted.
