Hi Jo
The LMO is applied for by the Hospital but I would say that they would need to employ an Immigration lawyer to be sure that the application had as good a chance as any of gaining a positive decision.
Why am I still here ? Long story we had a very cautious Immigration Lawyer who advised us to not to go for sale until Phil had picked up his Work PErmit at the Port of Entry so seeing he only flew out there Feb 4th the house is only just going on the market.
If I could have had hindsight then I would have ignored the Lawyer and gone up for sale straight away and taken the chance as it now leaves me here on my own with a house to sell, pack up and two kids who are the mo driving me crazy.

Thought they were desperate for nurses? They aint so quick at getting us over Never mind though this will give us longer to sell the house!!
when they offered me the job I hadn't even filled out an application for as they said they can now emply experienced overseas nurses without competition. If this is the case surely they have thought to pave the way for the LMO process, or would that make sense!
