We are wanting to move away from NB Canada.
Our Son has now gone to Memorial Uni in NFL, and frankly, there is nothing here for us now.
We are considering a move to the rock too, even going back to the UK..
Is the rock really as expensive to live as we hear?
and what job opportunities are there in NFL at the moment?
Any feedback is welcome!

Ask and ye shall receive.
Is there work here? Yes, lots, depending upon what it is you do for a living. Probably pays better than NB and lower provincial taxes. On the flipside property is much more expensive. Probably cheaper than UK though!
It's an Island so travel off it is more expensive than the mainland. Food is also probably more expensive but not prohibitively so. (We're not talking, Labrador or NWT prices here.) The weather can be "interesting" but we manage to survive. Natives are friendly & St John's is quite the buzzing little city with more in the way of culture and nightlife than many larger Canadian cities IMHO.
What else do you want to know?

"My Sojourn in a Normandy Slummer" your autobiography title.
Not that your French place sounds slummy at all, dammit

Not sure this is working for me?
Plenty being said, very little making sense?
