Default Life is too short

My wife and I are in full swing of emigrating to Canada.
For the better life.
For the life that we dont have.
For the great outdoors.
For the seasons.
For the education for our children.
We have the attitude that: Dont regret the things that you have done but the things that you have not.

Fair enough. But, omg, England looked wonderful this week, like a green and pleasant land. Ontario's in the snow season.

A problem that can be solved by the application of an umbrella or a raincoat.

I'll miss the green, but I think Ontario looks beautiful under its winter blanket. Makes me feel like a kid again.

I have yet to shovel my drive free of snow, drive in the ice etc etc. Certainly don't envy you your daily battle against the forces of cold, but hey. I'll enjoy it while I can.

Too leading a question for a Saturday evening.

A friend once described Canada as an America run by Germans: efficient, modern and soulless. (not that I subscribe to that view but it does have some merits).

Come to the Okanagan, we don't know what rain is here and the Spring is already beginning. Currently now had a full 7 days of sunshine and blue skies and no more snow.
