The basics are covered in this link. Quick Guide to Canadian Immigration : British Expat Wiki |

Not sure this is going anywhere. We need to type slower and a bit louder.

Re: Life in Canada
There's a lot of Croatians in Vancouver. They've even got their own centre.

Re: Life in Canada
I'd say $300,000 for a two bed on the outskirts of Toronto. Be warned that modern units have fairly small bedrooms.
Toronto is pretty multicultural so I'd take a punt that we also have the most Balkanites. Moving to Canada isn't exactly a stroll in the park so I suggest that you go and read the WIKI referred too. |
Re: Life in Canada
well 300.000$ is really too much, damn,,,and what about job,is it easy to find a job?

Did you read the wiki yet? If you are not hung up on living in a large city such as Toronto or Vancouver there are much cheaper properties out there, especially if you don't mind a fixer-upper. ($100k or less) But if you don't meet the immigration requirements that's all irrelevant. |

Re: Life in Canada
Check this web site to get an idea of house prices: mls.ca
Also consider renting a place until you have enough money to buy. |

Come, get job, rent, then buy when u made your first few hundred thousand $$$ I suspect that you need legal immigration status to work at Tims anyway. Some of the cash in hand construction sites may not be such sticklers for paperwork? |
Re: Life in Canada
Good point, Oshawa it is, wait at Salem/401 and cash in hand will be abundant.

Lots of well educated immigrants sadly end up serving pizza and coffee. If they are lucky they drive taxi's. Some have lost their money getting here and others do it for their children. |
