If you legally can't come to Canada to live and work the question is mute. What route will you be planning to come under? Federal Skilled Worker or Trades, PNP or any of the other 50 routes.

Do you qualify to emigrate here, thats the first thing to check before focusing on where to move to.

The basics are covered in this link.

Not sure this is going anywhere. We need to type slower and a bit louder.

There's a lot of Croatians in Vancouver. They've even got their own centre.

There's one here too. I went once, there was a pig roasting in a pit. I ate some.

I'd say $300,000 for a two bed on the outskirts of Toronto. Be warned that modern units have fairly small bedrooms.

Toronto is pretty multicultural so I'd take a punt that we also have the most Balkanites.

Moving to Canada isn't exactly a stroll in the park so I suggest that you go and read the WIKI referred too.

Not without a residency visa.

Did you read the wiki yet?

If you are not hung up on living in a large city such as Toronto or Vancouver there are much cheaper properties out there, especially if you don't mind a fixer-upper. ($100k or less)

But if you don't meet the immigration requirements that's all irrelevant.

Min wage jobs seem pretty plentiful.

Check this web site to get an idea of house prices: mls.ca
Also consider renting a place until you have enough money to buy.

Job easy find, Tims always taking on people who don't even speak English, I see this each day I visit

Vancouver no cheap to live much

Toronto have cheaper houses in outskirts like Oshawa or Hamilton areas.

Come, get job, rent, then buy when u made your first few hundred thousand $$$

Working at Tim Hortons? Good luck with that!

I suspect that you need legal immigration status to work at Tims anyway. Some of the cash in hand construction sites may not be such sticklers for paperwork?

Good point, Oshawa it is, wait at Salem/401 and cash in hand will be abundant.

Depends on what your profession, qualifications and expectations are. It also depends on the industry and your interpersonal skills.

Lots of well educated immigrants sadly end up serving pizza and coffee. If they are lucky they drive taxi's.

Some have lost their money getting here and others do it for their children.
