I'm getting laid off from my nice comfy job of ten years in June - it's kind of a voluntary arrangement.
Haven't really done anything useful apart from push papers and avoid my upstart Scottish junior for the last couple of years. I hear from a bunch of people who skipped the UK to get away from IR35 (blame the Scottish upstart) that Canada is a great place to go if you haven't any useful skills - lets face it (smiles ironically for the camera, pause) I don't know what I can do that is useful. Maybe I could open a B&B in the atlantic provinces? Or maybe be a teacher in the prairies? Any ideas welcome! PS. Could you sponsor me? |
