I can't believe that the time has finally come and we are leaving for Canada. Our flight to Toronto is going at noon from Heathrow and going with three kids, it's going to be a looooong day!
We are all very excited, only downside is that OH has to stay put another week and will join us next week in Toronto. He will apply for TWP at POE and for him the flight will be even more nerve racking.
We will keep you posted how everything goes....

ps: most annoying thing so far was getting a "non-standard letter" from the car insurance. What a nightmare!!! (and we are still waiting for it....

Wishing you and your family all the very best.
I will be in exactly the same position this time next week at Gatwick.
Safe trip and I hope it all works out for you and your family.

If you're immigrating as a PR, make sure you hold onto the IMM5292 when they process your entry. Lot of people mislay it, you will definitely need it in the future.

Good luck and hope it all went well! I agree on car insurance thing - I asked my company 3 times for a "non-standard" letter. Each time they seemed to get the request - repeated back to me what I wanted but still got... a standard letter!

And does anyone know how long your no claims lasts with ICBC? Ive got a letter from them when i left Canada in '04 stating 6.5 years of non claims.
