Default Leave for Canada on the 17th August!!

Hey everyone,

Well my passport arrived back yesterday with my visa and landing papers.... booked the flight today and leave a week on Wednesday!!

Totally over the moon and excited but have the horrible job of saying goodbye to loved ones ( tissues at the ready )

Anyway a rather busy few weeks ahead finishing off the last few bits, I'm sure it will go very quick!!! My next post may well be from Saskatoon

Cheers all,

Jack......

Yay congrats! Did you post your passport to London? Do you mind me asking how long you waited? We've just posted ours off last week and are wondering how long they may take to be returned to us

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your messages and the best of luck to you all I hope all goes well

As for time line we sent ours on the the 14th July by post, the embassy received it on the 18th and we had it back by the 4th!! good going I thought.

This might help too, we used a immigration agency and this is what they sent me from the Canadian high commission....

What I can do however is to provide you with my recent statistics on processing times for this stage. Please view the following link for confirmation that your passport was received and signed for at the visa office on 18th July:

70% of passports sent in the last 6 months have been received by us within 16 days of government receipt

90% of passports sent in the last 6 months have been receieved by us within 21 days of government receipt

100% of passports sent in the last 6 months have been recieved by us within 32 days of government receipt

There is no guarantee that your passport will be received within the time periods specified above, this just gives you an idea on how long previous passport stamping applications have taken. The processing times are controlled by the government.

Hope this helps, good luck to you all, Its a very exciting time...

Best wishes, Jack
