Roughly when is the last postal date for packages from Ontario to the UK, in time for xmas? The Canadapost website didn't help me. I'm not panicking yet, but I'm trying to be organised for a change.
This is assuming Royal Mail are up to the task at the other side, of course!

Thanks, you're a star! Perfect.
I searched using the term Christmas, when clearly I should have known to replace that with Holiday Season these days.

The dates are not set in stone. I've sent cards after the deadline and they've made it in time. I have even sent a surface mail parcel in early December and that made it (deadline end October).

Same here Souvenir. I never send anything before the deadline - I think they use that as a guaranteed date. My cards go about 10 days before Christmas and get there in lots of time, and parcels go whenever, but never before December 1st. I'm not doing parcels anymore though, someone on the Brits2Vancouver site posted some great links for gifts to the UK on the net, and that's where I'll be doing my Christmas shopping for "that lot over there".

I tend to use UK based companies for gifts too, but sometimes I prefer to put a parcel together myself. And some people like to receive Canadian products, like maple syrup goodies, North American cosmetics, and believe it or not, Kraft dinner.
I aim to please.
