Smile Language Proficiency test

Hello,

I have read quite a few posts all ready on this topic, but they are specific to other peoples circumstances. I have received my 120 day letter (very excited), and I'm not sure if I have to complete the Language test as I am British. I sent my original application away April 16th 2010 and received my 120 day letter on 11th August 2010, do I need to have the test or am I exempt as the change happened after I sent my application?

I would be very great full for any reply.

Plenty of threads discussing this in the immigration section, As far as I can tell and this is what we have done, because your file was sent well before the June changes then all you need to do is submit a letter explaining all education etc was done in English etc
