Landing soon ... info needed .. 2 questions
1) Do I need to carry photos for PR Card? If yes, how many? (The instructions from CHC does not mention that ... but some postings on this newsgroup does)
2) Does the immigration officer at the port of entry checks for the return tickets? I'll be returning within a week and will move permanently in 2-3 months?

If you have an old-style paper visa then the port of entry officials will
take your photo(s), and forward an application for the card on your behalf -
provided you can give a valid Canadian address to which the card(s) can be
mailed.

You will have to take your photos ready with you, this is what I had
to do too! There is a specific format for dimensions and specific
background color (which is white)....you should find out the details
from their website or previous queries in the newgroup, or maybe, just
call them up!!
Best Wishes,
--Ben.
