[It all started last March at Emigrate2 show at Sundown Park in Esher. Can't really remember how I found the link to the show's page but found myself queuing up at 9.30 am waiting to get in. From that moment onwards, things have moved quite quickly. Although the OH didn't really consider the idea of moving to Canada when I told her about the show, my excitement upon return soon rubbed off and from then on we have single mindedly persued our new dream.
Although it took longer than we expected it to, we are thrilled to be finally on the verge of moving. The bags have been packed, weighed, repacked again and finally made the desired weight. We leave London on Sunday heading to Kamloops. Our 3 year old daughter is so excited to be moving and this has been a relief as we weren't sure how she would handle leaving the close family we have. Tomorrow the whole clan will get together for a farewell and am sure a few tears will be shed hopefully of joy rather than sadness.
Next time I post will be somewhere in Kamloops.

Finally landed yesterday in Calgary. The whole process was smooth. Lasted for approx 1 hour but this was due to long queues. When our turn came took about 20 minutes and we were off to catch a connecting flight to Kamloops. Can't really sleep as am still on London time but finally made it and absolutely thrilled to be here.
