Waiting for visas but house selling problems
Anyone know if I could land with family then return to UK to hopefully sell house?
Am eager to get kids started in Canadian school in September.
Has anyone out there done this?

You need to land within one year of your medicals and then after that you can return to the UK to sort out the house etc. and in answer to your question alot of people have done or doing it this way.

Think it is 3 out of 5 years residency in Canada required to retain your PR status.

Yes we landed Feb 2006. Bought the house in Canada and then returned to the Uk to sell ours. We then took possession of the Canadian house in the August. If you would like any further information please PM me.
