LANDING QUESTION....Advice Please
#1
Needs some advice.
We are landing in December 2008 and want to make a good holiday out of trip.
Although we will be living in the Cochrane area of Alberta, we wanted to start our holls off by flying to Vancouver and staying there for a week before flying Westjet to Calgary and start house hunting, looking at schools etc etc.
Can we offically land in Vancouver even though we will reside in Alberta?
Or would we need to land in Calgary when we fly on from Vancouver?
Thanks

We landed in Calgary; live in Vancouver. No problem.
Thought it was a good opportunity to see friends and travel across.

You land at your point of entry to the country. You don't go through immigration on an internal flight.
