Hi All
We have completed our medicals and are now waiting for our passport
requests. I hope to go to Vancouver in a few months time for a
couple of job interviews but do not want to go through the landing
process on this visit. Will Canadian immigration insist that i land
if i have my PR visa or can i tell them i will go through the
process when my family and i move out for good ?
Thanks - Pete

I'm sure you can just tell them you are here as a visitor and do not wish to land yet. You might not even have your passport requests "in a couple of months time". I think I've read threads on this subject before, have a search in the immigration forum...
