Curious, is the interview always required, a friend of mine has told me that she is at medicals, and no interview required as yet..

hi jhorsfield
OH wasn't called for an interview and I've not seen mention on this forum of many (if any) being called in the last year. I think they only call for interview if they're not totally convinced on your application?

good luck anyway

Re: Landed -piece of cake!

we had a great Canada Day yesterday, watching the Tattoo Parade and mingling with everyone down on the harbour boardwalk. The sun came out for the parade, a definite welcome site after 4 days of fog and showers!! Took a whale-watching tour up the coast but only saw a bit of a seal and a suspect dorsal fin! oh well!

been a mixed day weather-wise today with fog down on the beach but bright and sunny just a bit inland!
had an informal chat with a prospective employer (who was very happy he wouldn't have to sort out an LMO and WP etc!!) so all in all it's been a good trip so far :D

Off to explore a bit more of the province over the next few days

It's not my LMO I am waiting for - I had that in January.

It's my WP that is taking so long. We are at 24 weeks now. I am told that it was processed last week and that I should hear by Monday....last Monday that was.....still waiting.

Stress levels are soaring now. Good job I don't live in London....I would be throwing stones at the CHC windows or chaining myself to the railings or something.

I'am still brushing up for the interview just in case,
24 weeks + for a WP, thats a bit much .. and I wouldn't mind knowing quite why Skilled stream takes 4 years...

I can see it being almost scary. After all the waiting and waiting and suddenly it is all through so quickly, I will probably be standing there expecting to be waiting for six weeks to hear what the next thing they want is...... only kidding:)
