Just to let everyone know that i landed on the 16th June, still jet lag got my 3 yr permit, well he said when my passport expires thats when the permit expires.
In a little motel and desperately need to find accommodation.

Thank u all, does anyone know how to go about getting my sin number? Been on the website and rang the number but its just recordings no one to actually speak to.

Welcome to Canada. Where did you land? Hope you have a great time - it has lots to offer. I am sure you will get plenty of advice depending on where you are on how to go about things.

Here is a website called Find a Service Canada Centre Near You. That's where you go to get your SIN.

Yes life is good here and I am glad that Waltham Abbey is still a nice place. Where are you aiming to live in Canada and how far along are you with the process - I know it all takes so long!! I am sure that once you are here you will love it.

I expected a real quick turn around after the meds and now I find myself waiting by my phone for my wife to ring to say the postman has delivered it at last!! oh well - I shouldn't complain plenty others are a lot further behind than me
