Just to let everyone know that i landed on the 16th June, still jet lag got my 3 yr permit, well he said when my passport expires thats when the permit expires.

Hi jancal - The Abbey is still nice probably a lot more built up from what you remember of it - I suppose thats the same of most towns just outside of Ldn though. Hope you're enjoying life in Canada I can't wait to get out there

Yes life is good here and I am glad that Waltham Abbey is still a nice place. Where are you aiming to live in Canada and how far along are you with the process - I know it all takes so long!! I am sure that once you are here you will love it.

I'm heading for the Windsor area at the moment I'm just waiting for my PPR the very last bit - I'm so close I can taste it I expected a real quick turn around after the meds and now I find myself waiting by my phone for my wife to ring to say the postman has delivered it at last!!

oh well - I shouldn't complain plenty others are a lot further behind than me
