I was being sarcastic, the less people that know about Kamloops, the better it is for those of us living here :p

Kamloops is mainly blue collar, if you are lucky enough to get a white collar job you will be very happy.
That's not to say there aren't any sales and account mgmt jobs here, but you will have less of a choice compared to Kelowna & obviously Vancouver.

Average wage in Kamloops I estimate to be at about $50k pa. I work in IT and I got a job OK, if you are interested I could PM you some large company names here in Kamloops that you could research?

House prices are slowly coming down as well so that should help new arrivals out.
