Absolutely, a canoe is as "Canadian" as Gordon Lightfoot and Stomin' Tom Connors - make sure you send a picture of you/canoe with your application (a canoe made of birch bark (as sugges ted) would be a vey nice added touch)....how could immigration refuse you?......but my question is....how on earth would you ever transport it to Canada? - unless you intend to paddle over from the UK (hahhaha)......

Best of luck with your application!!!

Or one of those T-shirts, that say "Canada Eh !", that should definitely clinch at the citizenship test.

And don't forget to say to the immigration officer: "How do you do?" and immediately turn away.......

This starts looking like another rant: Canadian stereotypes

All wonderful suggestions - BUT humming a few bars from a Gordon Lightfoot or Stomin Tom Connor song (especially STC if you live in the Maritimes - and carrying a stomin board) will do the trick - the immigration officer could never refuse his citizenship!!!!!

I think you should also include the baseball cap with the canoe. You'd feel like a native!!

Such a typical "male sexist" remark - obviously you've never been with an "irish girl"!!!! for both "temper and when they "arrive"!!!!!!

Obviously, we're getting a little "off topic" in more ways than one............
