Last week I was camping and doing outdoorsy stuff in the forests near Squamish, BC. I'm feeling a bit stiff now, but it was very exhilarating at the time.

I flew back to Calgary for the weekend. It has been useful to come back, rinse out and dry my tent, do laundry, etc.

Tomorrow morning (Monday), I'll fly back to the coast, this time to Vancouver Island, to do a serious recce.

Hmmmm does look a bit dire for August.

I hope you've taken the time to do some proper research Mrs - not just going to turn up and hope everything falls into place.

Now then, will your Alberta hair straighteners work there or will you need a transformer; and do they drive on the left; and really - how much is the cheese?
