Hi Claire
Welcome to the BE (British Expats) Forum

Gill was asking you to "PM" them - meaning "Private Message". Basically you see their user name down the left hand side of the screen, left click your mouse over the name and it gives you options to send private emails to each other....better than posting your email address on the thread.

To help answer your job websites, also try www.workopolis.ca
Might be handy.

Good luck

If you haven't already done so, I recommend that you read the BE Wiki article on Careers in Canada.

Also, I suggest that you express your e-mail address as
yourname at btinternet dot com
Publishing it in the way that you've done will invite heaps of spam. There are "spiders" that go "crawling" around the Internet, looking for the "at" symbol. Then they pass on anything that contains that symbol to the spammers.

If it's too late for you to edit your post, you could ask a moderator to do it for you.

Hope that helps.

I imagine they'll be sophisticated enough to pick up " at " now as well, given the number of people that use that notation on internet forums. Particularly if you're using a popular ISP.
