Hi to everyone.
I am new to the form and would like a bit of advice
if you dont mind that is.
so here goes i have been offer employment in van
but what would you say you would need to earn
out there to have a good standed of living
I am still in the uk have a family and live in the northwest. have a house to sell so this would be my funds to buy out there but looking at the prices the area we could afford would be lowermain land and still need a morgage.
any advice would be good
cheers

Decent places to live in Lower Mainland area cost $300,000 up to buy (unless you are willing to live in a grotty neighbourhood and there are more of those than decent ones, be careful). The lower Mainland is a vast area with no real character. It is about as interesting to live there as it is peeling beer mats on a Saturday night in the pub. But as I always say...whatever floats your boat.

Thanks for your reply Dingbat
so i will not be taking the job offer and go out on a work permit. will just have to wait for my PR .
