Odd. Wouldn't touch that company with a bargepole, even if I were an Alberta resident looking for an IT job.

After I finished smirking I did wonder - would that be legal to actually admit to not looking at resumes from out of province? (Mind you, it is what the majority of companies actually do....)

Admittedly the BC jobs that said the equivalent really annoyed me when I was looking for work over there.

I got laid off after asking when I was getting my salary review in my first job.
As review time approached in my second job, I posted my resume on Workopolis in preparation for getting fired.
One of the recruiters spotted it by the next morning and I got asked exactly what I was playing at .... I got to keep the job and got a pay rise too
