Default I've just had my first....

winter drive in the snow. I thought i'd have more skids than a teenagers underbelters but it was suprisingly ok and quite fun. Got completly lost as visibility was next to zero but thats all part of the experience. No i have to wait to drive in my first whiteout on the highway.

Don't forget to check your wipers every time you set out. If you need to sweep a load of kicked up snow off while driving and they've frozen solid you'll be very sorry.

Yes, this did happen to me. A Canadian friend, who should have known better, was driving. Very very scary.

Fill car with kids, find a parking lot, accelerate hard, slip lever into neutral, throw wheel over, yank on handbrake, shout woooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's my winter enjoyed, then it can all melt.

Or take RWD car, Jeep in 2wd etc to deserted shopping mall parking lot and spend a happy few minutes doing donuts and powerslides. Shouting woooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! is optional.

Yeh i've heard about that. It seemed the wipers where useless anyway at getting the falling snow of, it just seemed to freeze on the window.

It wasn't snowing when I went to the cinema in St. Catherines. But a truck passed by on the other carriageway and threw a huge spray of fallen snow and slush onto the windscreen. Complete whiteout. Only then did we discover the wiper blades didn't work. You'd be surprised how long it takes to wind down the window and stick your head out to drive. Approximately 6 seconds. Or 135 heartbeats.
