I just downloaded about an hour ago the latest episode of Robin Hood which aired tonight at 6:00pm in the UK and was uploaded to the web at about 8:15pm UK time.

Alright I'll state in Canada it is legal to download but illegal to upload.

I am not advocating uploading as per bit torrent sites.

I am also talking only about TV shows.

Isn't it technically illegal but unenforceable? Wasn't there some fuss last year about an act to make it more US like as they were getting pissy about the lax copyright laws up here?

Downloading is restricted here by the pathetic caps by the majority of the ISP's...

That law died on the order paper when the last election was called and so far no replacement has been brought forth.
