It's in the Wiki

Hi,
I have just been reading about the 90 day letter in the Wiki.
It states that not everyone will receive a 90 day letter. I would just like to know why this is.
Surely if you have applied under SW (as we have) they will need you to prove your education etc that you have stated on the application?
I am confused

The 90 day letters tend to be for the applicants under the old federal skilled worker programme.
New applicants applying under the list of 38 occupations seem to have been getting 120 day letters for the most part requesting the documents and some very lucky people have not gotten one at all and their first letter was a medical request. I think those are more likely to be the arranged employment applicants as they submit their applications in full from the get go.
There are no hard and fast rules so don't panic

Not everyone gets a 90 day letter because not everyone's application is the same.

If you submitted a simple application i.e. without all the proofs then they'll need to gather that information from you.

I would have thought so as they will probably want to check that a. you want to continue with your application and b. what you've been up to since you applied.
