IRPA update
Hi everyone. I am here with an update for you all, especially you IRPA applicants.
We applied from South Africa through London CHC, application received August 2001.
pink card November 2001 stating interview 12-15 months
nothing for 15 full months
notice in February 2003 to submit new application and all paperwork under IRPA as we wouldn't be interviewed before Mar 31
submitted new application and ALL applicable new paperwork, received in London May 16, 2003.
weekend occurs, Monday the 19th is a Cdn holiday, CHC closed
1 week later receive new pink card dated May 20 (significant cuz it appears they have made a decision about whether interview required in only ONE BUSINESS DAY).
pink card states "interview required 15 - 20 months"
I can NOT believe we are starting the waiting for an interview ALL OVER AGAIN.
is there ANYONE else out there in this situation? The amount of time they took to assess his file seems extremely fast and abnormal. The amount of time we have to wait for our interview AGAIN seems extremely cruel and lengthy...
anyone? comments? ideas? suggestions? compassion?
