Hey guys/girls just wondering is there many of ye that are Irish that have decided to move to Canada (Calgary)?.If so how are ye getting on?
How is it different to Ireland? iam leaving the bogs of Offaly solo to try and make a better life for myself. I hope to go in march on the iec visa pending of course
. I am just starting now to get all the info sorted and in the coming weeks as its a big thing for a 23 year to move to a new country not knowing anyone.(well it will be for me anyway)..So maybe if you could give me any advice or tips?hints and maybe what to do or what not to do it would be most grateful.
Thanks Ross

There aren't any leprechauns in Calgary. It's a shame, so it is, but that's a fact. Aye.

You'll see plenty of rainbows. By which I mean the oily kind that you find on tailing ponds.

We have an Irish girl, 24, working at our place until next summer - she and her boyfriend are here on IEC. I'll ask her if she has met any other Irish people here, or socialises with any...
