(sorry don't know anything about shippers I'm sure someone will be along soon with some suggestions) This time we're going to Toronto. I cant quite believe it to be honest. Excited and absolutely terrified at the same time. Gotta do something cos there is zero work here right now. |

I'm sure you'll enjoy Toronto:thumbup: Two small bits of advice live downtown for awhile if you can and don't buy a house in the Main and Danforth area, it sucks:p
And thanks Colin for the moving companies. |
Re: Ireland to Canada movers
We moved back to Calgary in February,(after 7 months back in Ireland!), and shipped boxes using AIRSEA in Dublin. They were competitive with their prices. They failed to advise us about an extra $500 we had to pay for steamship agent, handling and storage. They were difficult to contact when this occurred and washed their hands of any responsibility......so just be aware of this. Good luck!

Re: Ireland to Canada movers
Hi Londonnuck...long time no hear...lol.....we moved 28 boxes from Northern Ireland to Canada with www.excess-baggage.com no problems either side. I don't know if they are a UK only company but would be worth looking at them anyway.
Hope you love Toronto! |
Re: Ireland to Canada movers
Hello Londonuk!
We are using Nat Ross, they have been very helpful so far, we have LCL and are grouping it, means it will take 8 to 12 weeks but it's cheaper and we don't need the stuff until we have a proper base.. www.natross.com I also looked at airtransat cargo from Dublin, would have worked better if we had less but was too expensive. Hope this helps! Moira. |

Re: Ireland to Canada movers
800 Euros for 15 small boxes.
I'd rather row them across the Atlantic myself than use these rip off ***********s |
